    Los Angeles–based singer-songwriter Kacy Hill found herself pulled between a family emergency and managing her own mental health as she undertook the writing and recording process for her third album, Simple, Sweet, and Smiling. Hill co-produced every track on the album, while also working closely with John Carroll Kirby and Jim-E Stack. The lead single, “Seasons Bloom,” was co-produced by Ariel Rechtshaid, too.

    Anz: All Hours EP [Ninja Tune]

    All Hours is Manchester-based DJ and producer Anz’s inaugural release for Ninja Tune. The artist, in a statement, described the EP as a “soundtrack for 24 hours, from sunrise to the next” and “dance music for people who are up all hours.”

    Fire-Toolz: Eternal Home [Hausu Mountain]

    Angel Marcloid took a detour from Fire-Toolz with last year’s Holographic Universe(s?)!—part of her vaporwave side project Nonlocal Forecast—but returns with Eternal Home. It’s her fourth for Chicago label Hausu Mountain. She released “≈ In the Pinewaves ≈” and “Guardian Angel Bear” together with a visual in September.

    Charlotte Greve: Sediments We Move [New Amsterdam/Firgureight]

    Charlotte Greve, a German jazz saxophonist living in Brooklyn, says her new work Sediments We Move is an “image of [herself], turned inside out, completely vulnerable and bare, out in the open.” She recorded the seven-part suite with her Wood River bandmates and the Berlin-based choir Cantus Domus.
